About me

Hi! I’m Simona (she/her). I identify as a white cis queer woman. I specialize in working with anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, relationship concerns and LGBTQIA+.

My approach is warm and relaxed. I practice from a narrative perspective and often use somatic practices. I pull aspects and skills from other theories in order to tailor my approach to fit each client’s individual needs. I am constantly reading to stay up to date in my field and gain knowledge and perspectives, meaning if you’re looking for therapeutic book recommendations, I probably have one!

I have experience working in community mental health, hospital settings, on a domestic violence helpline, and in group practices. These variety of roles add up to over 10 years of experience in the mental health field and a deep knowledge of the mental health system and resources. I work with adults in Washington state.

Outside of work I enjoy time with my pets, engaging with creative projects and tending to my plants.

Two dogs sitting on a couch indoors. The dog on the left is black and gray brindle with a white patch on its chest, and the dog on the right is brown with a white patch on its chest. There is a blue blanket and a gray cushion on the couch behind them, and a gold geometric wall decor on the wall above.
